What Can I Expect?
Complimentary Call (1)
- Discuss your main areas of concern for your child. 
- Learn a little more about how you can use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in your home. 
- Learn about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and how an emotional education curriculum using ABA and CBT strategies can help your child. 
Child-focused ABA sessions
- In-person sessions if living in the NYC area 
One-Time Consultation (1)
- Pinpoint behaviors you would like to increase and decrease. 
- Learn how to identify the functions or reasons for your child’s behavior. 
- Set up a reinforcement/ consequence system for your home. 
- If you would like to continue, develop a plan. 
Parent-Training Sessions (4)
- All areas from one-time consultation with follow-up. 
- Develop more in-depth interventions for a number of skills including: following directions, academics, and behaviors of challenge. 
- Design a family media plan. 
- Learn about ABA and CBT 
Child-focused CBTSessions (6)
- Your child will work with Kristin in a therapeutic session on developing the following skills: 
- Emotional Education - identify, label and understand thoughts, feelings, behaviors and bodily sensations. 
- Understanding and Building Trust -Boundaries, Reliability, Accountability, Character and Integrity 
Note- There are certain prerequisite skills your child would need to have in order to participate in a remote session (e.g. sit and focus for 30-minutes). You can discuss these skills with Kristin during your complimentary call.
Note- If you feel you need in-person support, please visit the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to find someone in your area who can provide hands-on support for either child-focused sessions or parent-training sessions.
